I remember last month, quite a few people at work were talking about Munich.  For the last several days, I heard conversations about BBM.  Most were about the controversy but a few talked about how much they liked it because they've never seen anything like it before.  One of them said she's seen it twice already because it had such an emotional impact on her.  I jokingly told her it wasn't AJ's (Adorable Jake) eyes and she laughed along with me.  On a more serious note, I think Munich has been getting a bad rap because Spielberg didn't market this film as he should have.  I haven't seen the movie (not a subject I'm really interested in) but I heard that Eric Bana is great in it.

Munich was disappointing

Yeah, I agree.  I guess part of my disappointment is that I went in with the expectation that it was about the events at the '72 Olympics... but it really wasn't.  The plot had a very repetitive scheme that did not appeal to me and a lot of the dialogue seemed really contrived.

Totally agree....plus it should have been about 30-45minutes shorter.

Good movie, but not great.  A big box office dissapointment, particularly for someone like Spielberg.
