I feel all excited about watching this.
I want to see it......yet some how I'm scared of seeing it.
I already adore and miss Heath beyond belief...how will
I feel after seeing him...all alive and beautiful....only for him to be snatched away
and be gone again forever ?  :(    :'(

I feel that way every single time I see him in a movie, young and beautiful and for a moment you forget.  But that is the nice thing about film, we will always have that..

I wonder if he were alive what he would think of the state of the world today?

He was a "love and peace" man.
Never hurt anyone....never wanted to.....never needed to.

i'm sure there's nothing new, just another way to get ratings, it will be like an expanded People magazine story...we already know of the diary he kept for the Joker, and I'll never believe their teaser question: did this dark role impact his real life ...they already did the OJ story, Prince, Jon-Benet and other sensational stories...

Fridays, 9PM ET

HLN's new original primetime series, "How It Really Happened with Hill Harper," hosted by critically-acclaimed actor Hill Harper, delves deeply into some of the most notorious crimes, mysteries, trials, and celebrity tragedies of our time. Tune in every Friday at 9pm ET.

What Killed Heath Ledger?

To many, Heath Ledger had it all --baby and burgeoning career, but this episode reveals things are not as they seem. Ledger finished filming his Oscar-worthy performance of his gritty portrayal of the Joker in the "The Dark Knight." Ledger's body was found in his apartment and investigators were led to discover bizarre drawings and puzzling clues, including a diary Ledger created detailing his immersion of the Joker persona. Did this dark role impact his real life and what was his connection to Mary-Kate Olsen?

A review of "I Am Heath Ledger" which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival:

http://variety.com/2017/film/reviews/i-am-heath-ledger-review-1202393294/

He slept a summer by my side, He filled my days with endless wonder.
He took my childhood in his stride, But he was gone when autumn came.
And still I dream he'll come to me, That we will live the years together.
But there are dreams that cannot be, And there are storms we cannot weather.

Oh Wow!.....Oh Wow!  Tears and smiles as I read this.
Just can't wait to see this. Hope the "Spike" TV in GB
is showing it. You know how things get changed and swapped :(

Someone wrote this about Heath. I was so touched by it....I copied
it down.I love it ...hope you do to.

"He was charismatic...electric....and everyone knew it. When he walked
into a room....every womans head turned....everyone stood up to talk to him.
He was like this hybrid. A mix of a man who couldn't contain himself.
I always got the sense that he became torn between being a
good person but not wanting to miss out on all of the opportunities
that life could offer a man as magnificent as him. And in that way
I felt I understood him and loved him"

Sue - maybe if it gets screened in a Curzon Cinema in the UK somewhere (or another art house chain) we UK Brokies could get together?

                                              ^^^^

I can only see it is being shown in some art house cinemas in Australia  :(

We will have to just wait and see and keep checking.

A Dutch TV show had an item on the documentary just now - also discussing what was Heath's best role. Was it in Brokeback or was it The Joker? Four people out of five chose for Brokeback. They showed two iconic Brokeback scenes: the "one shot thing" scene and the reunion kiss scene.

And they showed two Joker scenes, but that doesn't count here  ;D

Strangely enough they didn't say whether the documentary will be released officially over here.

It is available (probably illegal as hell) on YouTube, although it takes a bit of searching.

Sue, I've PM'ed you already  ;)

I imagine that that documentary film "I am Heath Ledger" would be so fascinating to see, but it would still be heart-crushing to watch.

The only way I can describe how it left me was "shell shocked". I could hardly breathe while I was watching it....and for a while after too.
Words wouldn't come......but some tears did.

I FINALLY took the time to sit and watch I am Heath Ledger, what a great piece of work.  You really got to see a few different sides of Heath, and really appreciate his talent  even more.

So happy you liked it Chuck. It blew me away. Still reeling.

I'm glad I recorded it, and I didn't delete it, so I can go back and see it again.
