I'm sure you all know this video Heath made for Nick Drake's song "Black Eyed Dog", but it is new to me. I am becoming obsessed with Drake's music, love it.

I had never seen the full version of this video. Thanks for posting, Elena. Enjoy Nick Drake's music! Any favorite song?

I was delighted to have the opportunity to visit the Heath Ledger: A life in Pictures exhibition in Canberra. I stayed from 1-5 pm which gave me a chance to see everything in full detail.
Photos were not allowed, except for the motorcycle in the Lobby – a yellow Ducati, that matched the poster colors (or vice versa)

Thank you so much, onceinawhile, for such a detailed and heartfelt review of the exhibition honouring Heath. Reading it was the next best thing to being there. I have a brother living in Canberra, so I really don't have any excuse for not visiting this exhibition, do I?

I found a few official photos here for those who might be interested:

H4E....this is heaven ...and hell for me.

How wonderful to get to see some of his personal
items. His beloved motorcycle and many more things.
It's like he has allowed us in to a small part of his life.
But the exhibition only enforces the fact ...that he is not here.

Miss him....so very much.
Wanting him to come back... before anyone notices
part of the world has not moved...since he left.

I know what you mean, BA63. The giant poster of "I'm Not There" is doubtless the ironic and painful elephant in the room.    :(

Twenty years since "10 Things I Hate About You" premiered throughout the world.  Gosh - where did the years go?

Nice to read some fond memories of dear Heath:

What a beautiful man he must have been...inside and out.
I would have slept with him too. No question !!

Thanks for this H4Ever.

Heath would have been 40 on Thursday. How sad to think he's not here.  :'(

I'm not sure where this belongs, so I wil drop it he too.

We watched The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus yesterday. It's Terry Gilliam's craziness at its best. Probably not a movie for everyone, but we really liked it. But... Of course there's a but. It was way harder than I thought to watch Heath. This strange longing, dark feeling kept with me through all the movie and I don't think I could watch it as I would have if it was any other movie. No way to be objective about this one. And I also don't think I will watch it again. M really liked it though, he is a Gilliam fan and this movie kind of sums his world up, you can see so much Monty Python in it too. Excellent cast, Tom Waits is a surprise for me and I feel really thankful to Depp, Law and Farrell for honouring Heath as they did.

I was so much engrossed with this movie (ages ago) ... it was some time before I
realized Depp had taken over from Heath doing the part. I see pictures of Heath
that reminds me of Depp. Glad they chose him to play a part in the movie.
