I have some joyful and happy news.

I woke up this morning to the most beautiful sunshine.  I'm sitting here with the sun shining on my right arm and it is amazingly warm.

That made me happy today.

Have a wonderful sun here today, feels a little bit like spring.

I'm so glad the sun is shining in Sweden today.

Mia, I remember when you first joined us right in the middle of the winter's gloom, and you only had 6 hours of sunlight each day.

Thank goodness spring is coming, I'm happy for you.

That was adorable when Mia first posted it, and even cuter in multiples.  SO CUTE!!

Thanks Ing.

I'm feeling joy because I just took a hot shower.  It was tingly and lovely.  It was even Ingly.  LOL!

Marleen, I don't think I told you yesterday, Tommy and Earl were astonished to see the size of Alton! That is one big kittycat!

Thanks for loving Alton!  Yeah, he really is huge.  He's a Norwegian Forest Cat and only Maine Coons are bigger.  He's actually a bit small for the breed and a lot of his size is the hair.  But he really, truly makes me carry him around.  If I try and put him down, he clings to me so I can't.  Too funny.

Today's joy is that I'm going to get my hair cut - last time was in October.  Can you believe that?  I look like a hag but will soon feel wonderful!

 ;D

(((Mia)))
what a great thread!

In London we've been having 5, 6 days of sunshine on end (very unusual in these parts of the world!) and people have been pouring on the streets in quantities never seen before.
Last Sunday there were Chinese New Year celebrations in central London and that must have brought 1 million people into the streets. It was a such a joyful celebration I really felt better after the past two weeks.
Seeing people dressed in summer clothes in early February also made me feel better. :)

And that came the day after I saw those beautiful, uplifting images on Cottelsoe beach in Perth, and the whole idea of mourners being there watching the sunset in celebration of Heath's life, and being close to water as a powerful symbol of life and regeneration...

Thank you!

Londoners celebrating in summer clothes... already?
