By the way, if it's so cold, why is there a guy in shorts behind them?

My sister and I just went over this...I guess that's what happens when they film in summer time with fake snow...it's always snowing and the women are wearing little jackets, usually not even buttoned up - or worse, they're in sleeveless dresses inside.  I don't know anyone who can afford to keep the heat high enough in December to walk around without sleeves.  And you can never see their breath like you can when it's cold in real life.  I guess we're not supposed to try to make sense of these movies...

Saw Love Actually last night, mixed feelings about this movie, as I guess most have.

The fake porn movie was silly and never got resolved, unless the resolution was her saying “all I want for Christmas is you.”

Old rocker with the hit record, the storyline on that one was ok.

Colin Firth’s story line was meh, it’s hard to imagine falling in love with someone on a deep level if you can’t understand them – so it was physical only, I give the marriage two years.

Loved the wedding send-off that Andrew Lincoln did for Keira Knightley and got choked up watching the wedding video and the carol singer cards – that was sweet.

The PM, falling in love with Natalie was totally ridiculous.  And why would she send him such a personal  Christmas card like she did, when he had her transferred away from working for him?  Dumb…but he going to the dodgy end of her street and looking for her was cute.

Liam Neeson and the kid were just annoying.  It started out ok, but the airport thing…

Laura Linney and Rodrigo Santoro  – dammit!  Her devotion to her brother was touching and admirable, but damn!

And yes, Colin, American women DO love British accents…just don’t know if they love them that much!

The most disappointing one was Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson.  I kept hoping he wouldn’t be a vain asshole, going after that slutty secretary, but that’s what men do…and they’re so good at it.

If I were reviewing it on IMDb, I’d give it a 4 of 10…and would probably watch it again, at least my favorite parts.
