Love the pictures "Hbuddy".  Were they taken from where you live ?

yes, all these lovely trees are in my immediate residential neighborhood.   This was about a two mile walk around the area....the same route I take when walking my dog, Gertie.

Loved the first one, especially, Charlie; the one with the stream.  That's something we don't have where I live.  It's all tidal.  A flowing stream is soooo soulful.

yes, but it is going fast.   Usually, the color lasts at least a week in not closer to two; however, several of those same trees I took the pics of on Thursday have already turned mostly brown, and many leaves are falling.   THAT is the result of the extreme, hot, dry summer we experienced.   So glad now I took what few pics I did on Thursday.

Beautiful series, HB.

Thanks!   Sure wished the color would have lasted longer.  It was only here for perhaps 3-4 days, and now the leaves are falling rapidly.   A very hot, and dry summer, and in the last month, not a drop of rain; so it is extremely dry going into the fall season here in Missouri.
