Az do you have a recipie for this? sounds good
Hi, Nax!

Easy!

Whip up a standard Jose Cuervo margarita with extra crushed ice and lemon-lime bar mix, and blend in a blender until the slush is perfectly smooth.

Then, pour the mix into a salted glass, and  top with a thin layer of Grand Marnier, followed by a large dash of freshly-squeezed lime juice (-must be fresh, not bottled, etc.), and then stash the glass into the freezer. The idea is allow the juice justtime enough to freeze, creating a thin sheet of 'lime ice' across the top.

Finally serve with a shot of Grand Marnier on the side.  Mm-mm-mmm!  ;D

Sounds delicious, Stan!

Had anther thought.  I tried a Tanqueray Martini, extra dry with extra olives, on the advice of a friend and loved it!  It could become a vice, which is probably why I haven't had one since...  I'll save them for special occasions.   :)

I'll have to ask my friends who live there, forgot the name.

So if you dislike Pastis, you're probably not fond of ouzo or raki either...

The sweet white wine I have drink loads of in the pyrenees is called Muscat de Rivesaltes, infact I have a bottle that I am about to put in the fridge. Perfect served chilled in a long glass with lots of ice!!!

Well for me it is straight vodka all the way.  I enjoy bitter, Merlot, ouzo, tippero on the alcoholic front. Coke is my downfall on the non alcoholic side, but you can't beat a glass of freezing cold water!!!

Precisely why I decided to save them for special occasions!
