And the weekend I am home alone and with no plans whatsoever, netflix gives me "Jarhead" and "The Source Code", and I have not seen them. Coach, blanket and chips *happy sigh*

"Source Code"..I struggled with. "Jarhead" .... was a more deep and thought provoking movie than what it appears on the surface. Enjoy !!

OMG that Santa hat dance!!

I found Source Code really entertainig, in a Black Mirror way. Funny thing, the happy end really dissapointed me, that one didn’t call for a happy end.

Jarhead, oh where to begin. I thought it was your average war movie, but that really proved to be wrong. It really goes deep, it’s really scary to see how war (or just preparing for it) can turn normal people’s heads completely upside down, it really gets the worst of us out, I guess. I missed the movie being a bit more political, there are hints here and there, but they stay on the surface concentrating on the psychhological aspects. Jake is brilliant in it, but the other actors too, I hadn’t yet seen any film with Peter Sarsgaard.

So, now I expect Netflix to surprise me with some Heath’s movies 😊

*nods*

Like the actor with the glasses, Brian Geraghty, who was in the rifle scene with Jake. That scene always scares the shit out of me because of how intense it is - for both actors. Things were tense between them in real life as well after filming this scene because Geraghty felt Jake had "brutalized him" (IMDb).

Had to rewatch it after you wrote that, no wonder he felt brutalized, it looks as if both lost it making that scene.

Does anyone know the reason what made Drew Barrymore say that Jake was the worst actor she had ever worked with ??
So far as I can remember they have only worked together once ...and he was so young at the that time.

What a bitch.  >:(

calm down, Sue  ;)

Drew Barrymore shows she's sorry for dissing Jake Gyllenhaal with literal sign of affection
 Fri March 23, 2018
(CNN)Even if Jake Gyllenhaal was actually peeved that Drew Barrymore sort of dissed him during a recent appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," there's no way he's still mad.

On Thursday night, Barrymore walked the red carpet for the Season 2 premiere of her Netflix series "Santa Clarita Diet" while holding a sign that declared her love for her former co-star.

The display of affection came one day after Barrymore was forced to rank three of her former co-stars during an appearance on Corden's late-night talk show in a segment called "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts."

Barrymore was challenged by Corden to rank three of her former co-stars -- Gyllenhaal, Adam Sandler and Hugh Grant -- from most talented to least talented. If she didn't, she had to eat turkey testicles.

Barrymore named Gyllenhaal the least talented, "So I don't have to eat a turkey ball."
"Next time I run into him, I'll be like, 'Dude, it was like selling you down the river or eating a turkey's balls,'" she said. "And by the way, I don't even care if he hates me."

Apparently, she did a little.

Gyllenhaal and Barrymore appeared in 2001's "Donnie Darko" together.

I hate when shows like that have bits like that.

"Either you do something yucky to yourself, or say something yucky about someone else."

If I was a celebrity and a host tried to put me into something like that, I'd refuse to participate.
