I may have to delete this, should anyone take offense, but, regarding the murdered woman found on the Queen's estate at Sandringham: would the reaction in the UK be....obstinately legalistic, if it turned out to be Princess Beatrice's hat-designer? Just wondering......

Delete it. We don't need to get involved in yet another war.
In 2010, 606 people (all ages) were accidentally killed by guns.
Almost 3000 teens (15-19) die in traffic accidents a year.
1100 kids under 19 drown each year.
44 kids under 5 died of heat stroke in hot cars in 2013.

 Ron Paul supporter  :) ?

Will wait to see if any Brits are agitated.  In which case, of course.

The person or the end product?

Ha! Perhaps you saw this post on facebook from The Other 98%:

which then leads to this link about how Fox news is now pushing for Santorum.  ::)

Ron Paul would be my choice for civil liberties, but am uneasy about the strange baggage he has, everywhere else.
********
Anyway, God has spoken to Pat Robertson, again.  Told him who will win the next election (but that must stay secret  ::) ).  Told him Obama will bring about the ruin of the United States.
I haven't yet figured out why God would favor someone who had a business venture trolling for diamonds, in a genocide zone. Or sells health food products. But, well, he's going Mayan on us, as of today (Robertson, that is; not God).

But he apparently believes the election still matters? Is the end of the world cancelled?

OG,
Are you saying, you've got the 'hots' for Aaron Hawkins?  ->

 ;)   >:D

I'm completely in love with him. He expresses what I feel like no one else.

I don't think consistency has been his strong point, Ellen.  And am sure he's still adding on to his stock portfolio  :D........

And I repeat my question from a while back...
do you, or anybody, think Ron Paul can control the actions of Congress and get his "baggage issues" made into law any more than Obama can get his ideas passed?

That has been on my mind.  No, I don't think he could get his baggage through Congress, if that answers your question.  I DO think he would shake things up, especially on these endless wars and erosion of privacy and freedom.
As for the gnashing of teeth about his so-called pro-life, anti-Israel, anti-gay, mumbo-jumbo, much or all of that is deflated if you take into account he's coming from a different direction.  He says (if I remember correctly) that he's against same sex marriages.  But then goes on to say, it should be left up to the states.  And as far as being anti-gay, he has been boldly and repeatedly saying, in Iowa, that the government, at every level, should stay out of our bedrooms.
I think he's real.  And I think he could make a difference in important areas, while being contained by Congress in others.

Probably not; but the track record of Paul's supporters is that they wouldn't be bothered if he passed the baggage, lost it at the airport or sold it (no True Libertarian would give it away).  Is that what you wanted to hear?  Of course, there's that pesky matter of a national election and whether or not Paul would be facing an electorate as totally accepting and uncritical as his current followers.  He just might, considering some of the national choices in the past 32 years.

Mitt wins Iowa. Mitt will win New Hampshire next. When he goes to the South, he'll run into problems. Either way Mitt will be their guy and perhaps our next President.
