A lot of time people don't realize that since heat rises, the dogs and cats on the floor are colder, since it is colder on the floor, unless you have a space heater. Mostly people have central heat where the vents are on the ceiling. We lived in several mobile homes, and they have floor vents. The dogs and cats LOVED the floor vents in the winter. In actuality, the dogs loved the floor vents in the summer and would lie directly on top when the AC was on.
