How very Berlin!
He slept a summer by my side, He filled my days with endless wonder.
He took my childhood in his stride, But he was gone when autumn came.
And still I dream he'll come to me, That we will live the years together.
But there are dreams that cannot be, And there are storms we cannot weather.

Hard to believe she is 80 years old now.  Today, (3/20) if John were still alive, this would have been their 44th wedding anniversary.

I'm feeling a bit sad and nostalgic today,

so I decided to post this for you:

one of the songs that have marked my teen years

Gianna Nannini

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CktuT6aRwO4

at that time, she wasn't famous yet

I think this is heartbreakingly beautiful

thanks for sharing

Before Brokeback Mountain came along, this was my favourite movie soundtrack of all time.  Now I cannot decide between them.  I love them both!

"Picnic at Hanging Rock" by Gheorghe Zamfir.  (It is over ten minutes long - just to warn you.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m-6bU4x7us

Thank's sooooooooooooooo much.

This is one of my favourite movies of all times.

Thanks for reminding me - I love this - have seen it countless times in the cinema, own the DVD and can't get enuff of the music, there's also a long quote of Beethoven's 4th (if I remember correctly) piano concerto in this film.

It brings back sweet and sad memories.

I'm very grateful for this.

 :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

You have made my day.
