It's not coming to Germany until June 2018! But I do really believe it can be "too American" for an european audience. Being honest, I don't think I would be interested in the film if Jake wasn't in it, but that's just me.

It didn't do well here at all, I believe  :(  Jeff's story may be exeptional and inspirational, but I can see why it wouldn't appeal to a large "mainstream" audience.

Maybe this is one of those movies you'll appreciate more in the privacy of your own home. I'm looking forward to seeing it (on DVD).

I've felt that way about 'Southpaw'. And 'Okja'. And even 'Nightcrawler' at first  :laugh:  And maybe even one or two others over the years. Ah well.
