What in the World 2
« on: December 18, 2016, 06:06:08 PM »
Quoting Morrobay from the first post of the previous thread:

What in the world

I’ve become a bit obsessed with what’s out there on the internet, pictures of things I’ve seen online, maybe never will see in person, and just beautiful and unusual things to share.

So I thought it might be interesting to have a pictures-only thread for anything in the world.  Categories like art, architecture, fashion, shoes (!), animals, photography, nature, gardening, sports, history, weather…whatever…did I mention shoes?

If you post, please make sure the pictures are the right size according to the forum requirements.  Also no hotlinks and for any NSFW ones, please only post the link.

Please keep comments brief, maybe a thumbs up or down, but opinions as to right/wrong aren’t necessary.

This will be an open thread, so please feel free to contribute or just enjoy looking.

I liked that tinsel, but damn, it took forever to hang and look right.

I also remember seeing in the 70s (and apparently they're making a comeback) trees that would "snow", like this....

the bag of snow would be emptied into the green container, get sucked up the blowing rod inside the tree,  shoot  out of the top, and "snow" over the tree.

Here's a close-up of the top of a snowing tree, in action.
