I've never even heard of a snow-blowing tree!  How did I miss that?  Oh, you said the '70s...I tried to forget the '70s  :)

I decided on my favorite Hallmark Christmas movie.  It's not Oscar-worthy, of course, but out of all the movies I’ve seen this season, I like it.  I like the characters and the actors, topped off by Christopher Lloyd and William Shatner in a minor role.

I love what Jason (the boyfriend) does when Lindsey is nervous before doing a Q&A at a book signing...it's just cute, is all.

The premise is different in that it’s not a girl paired with the obviously jerk boyfriend, who meets and rejects the obviously perfect (for her) boyfriend, until the last 2 minutes.

It’s on again on Tuesday 12/26 at 3pm central.

Summary from Hallmark channel:
Just in Time for Christmas
Lindsay Rogers has to make a tough decision: stay in her small town hometown and marry longtime beau and coffee shop owner Jason Stewart, or accept a once in a lifetime job offer, teaching at an Ivy League college thousands of miles away. Fortunately, a magical messenger gives her a priceless Christmastime gift. Stars Eloise Mumford, Michael Stahl-David, William Shatner and Christopher Lloyd.

From critic review on IMDb:
What this all boils down to is that "Just in Time for Christmas" is a nice Christmas movie which comes up with a creative new spin on the "What If" theme. But whilst it is a fun take and a fun Christmas movie I wouldn't say it was anything special.

I think it's a little special...

It's cool and I like the way it looks, but I just think of the mess it could potentially cause. Especially with cats!

I think this is my favorite, mainly because of the leading man, Aaron O'Connell.

"12 Gifts of Christmas"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5133810/
It comes on again on Christmas Eve at 12 noon.

He is also in "My Christmas Love". He is not the leading man though.

Not only is he really good looking

He's a really good guy.

Of English and Irish ancestry, Aaron John O’Connell was born in Dayton, Ohio, where he grew up with his sisters Amy, Abby and Anna. Their parents, Mark Alan O’Connell, a former player for the Cincinnati Bengals and current President of ChemStation of Indiana, and Kathryn (Deeble) O’Connell, met during college in Ohio. His grandfather Wayne Deeble was a pianist who taught O’Connell at a very young age to play the piano and he has used that ability, as well as his guitar skills, in his roles as an actor. In addition to his musical talent, O’Connell was an athlete and grew up playing football, basketball and baseball.

’Connell caught the eye of writer, producer and director Tyler Perry, who cast him as Wyatt Cryer in “The Haves and The Have Nots,” the first television drama he created. O’Connell co-starred in the show for four seasons, during which time it became a big hit for OWN.

When O’Connell gets a break from the entertainment business, he loves to fly. In 2013, he earned his private pilot’s license and later became an instrument-rated pilot in 2014. While he enjoys flying his Cirrus SR22 recreationally, he also flies for the charity Pilots ’N Paws, ferrying dogs from kill shelters to their new families.

I am now following him on Twitter.

I love that he flies pets to their new homes...must be a good guy to do that!

I like that movie, but I don't like the female lead...just something about her...
