Our neighborhood lost power for about 20 minutes, it came back for 10 minutes, then off again. It's not raining or windy, no weather at all...makes me wonder what Austin would do if we really had bad weather.
There is nothing more silent than a house without power. A couple years ago, I bought a battery powered fan, so I used that and it gave enough of a background sound to break the silence.
It didn't bother Emmett...I love that he still does all the quirky little things he's always done, he hasn't "outgrown" them. He still loves nothing more than to bury his head in my hand to sleep, and he still sleeps on his feet...until it's just too much and he moves to a more comfy place to finish his nap...a few minutes after I took this pic, he made his way to the back of the sofa and is curled up.
