Ok, I'm getting sucked into a new reality show on <gasp> Lifetime!  It's called Fit to Fat to Fit. 

It follows two people who are related by blood or marriage, one fat, one fit.  The premise is the fit person gains as much weight as their counterpart wants to lose.  Then they work to get both people to lose weight and get in shape.  There are two married couples, and three or four pairs of siblings.

So they stop working out, and just eat everything.  It's kinda sad to watch the really fit ones having to eat a bunch of crap that makes them feel sick.  One guy has to gain 70 pounds in 4 months, which I can't even...70 pounds!

It's cold in Texas!  The 7 day forecast shows 3 days next week with lows in the 20s...Tuesday calls for freezing rain/snow and a high of 34.   Since I don't have to go to work, it's ok with me. 

Looking forward to tomorrow's playoff game, Eagles vs Falcons...go Eagles!

Saturday January 13th
Day: Reinforcing arctic cold front arrives, dropping temperatures again. Sunshine holds. Bit breezy.
Evening: Widespread freeze. Dry weather.

Since I'll never be able to afford to go back to California ($742,000 is the new median home price in the Bay Area), I've been checking realtor.com to get an idea of what's out there in the Philly suburbs and beyond. 

The places I grew up are pretty much out of my price range, so I'm looking a little further out, like Lancaster, Berks County, some places in Delaware Co, Red Hill...any place that has a low crime rate (using areavibes.com). 

Listening to Philly sports radio WIP this morning as they're talking about today's game, a commercial for TastyKakes came on.  Seems they have winter edition snacks...I miss living in Philly.

I can send you some  :) although I haven't seen the winter edition ones...

still looking at things for my tiny house...although I think it would be at least as expensive to buy land and have a small house built, than to find an existing one...
