I like this one, too...cold, winter landscape...I'll probably find another place for it

Glad it's Friday!

Bad: I was out 2 days with a cold, so not looking forward to the 3521 emails I'll have this morning.
Good: I saved $370 that the IRS said I owed, which I didn't owe.  I called and got it straightened out.
Good: got approved for a home equity loan to fix up some stuff...still deciding whether to do it or not.
Good: returned some stuff I ordered that didn't work out...sometimes I wait too long, but I had ordered the convection oven with air fryer, and that went back...too big and didn't really need it.
Good: our whole company is moving from Oracle to SAP, so we might have the whole week of Memorial Day off during the "black out".

We haven't been able to open windows for about 3 weeks. The highs this week are mid 90's, but at least our lows are mid to high 50's. We always have a large swing between highs and lows since we are so far above sea level. So it gets really hot during the day and really chilly at night. The humidity has been around 8%, which causes a whole other problem.

I envy you the cool nights, but not the lack of rain and such low humidity.  I've been going home for lunch most days, and it is still beautiful at noon, coolish but you can tell it's warming up, slight breeze...really quite unbelievable for Austin in mid-May.

We've been warm here, but not overly so.  Evenings are nice and cool, so I can have the fans on for fresh air.

Well, looks like we had one week of spring and went right into summer.  Sunny and hot, but the humidity hasn't bothered me like it usually does...yet.

Today our group is going to see the Avengers at Alamo Draft House.  They have tables with waiter service,  and they serve food and drinks while the movie is playing.  They also have a very strict no talking, no texting policy, which is a nice change.
