Start Decking The Halls: Hallmark Will Air A Record-Breaking 40 New Christmas Movies

by JENNIFER ALDRICH  -  APR 4, 2019

Joy to the world, indeed! It's not even Easter Sunday and Hallmark is already spreading the holiday cheer. The network just revealed that it will air a record-breaking 40 (FORTY!!!) brand new Christmas movies this year, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The site reports that Hallmark Channel will show 24 of these films and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will broadcast 16 more. But perhaps the best news of all? We don't have to wait until December to watch all of the festive flicks. The publication adds that the first airing is set to happen in July during the Keepsake Christmas campaign, which marks the halfway point to December 25.

40!  They'll be filming all summer in short sleeves with fake (or no) snow.  Only 3 months till we can binge-watch all that sappiness  :D

They are actually showing several of the older Christmas movies on Thursday and Friday nights all through out the year.

I thought I saw 9 Lives of Christmas in the TV listings, but didn't know they were playing Christmas movies every week!  thanks, Linda!

One of Nelia's kittens passed yesterday.  It was just failure to thrive...Shelly tried tube feeding but she wasn't gaining weight and her heart just stopped as Shelly was cuddling her.  But the other 3 are gaining and moving around and are doing well.

I was watching the feed yesterday, and one of the kittens seemed to be in distress.  Shelly took it right away, and the audio feed picked up Shelly asking "do you need a tummy rub?" so people thought perhaps it was an indigestion/gas issue.

Stanley, aka Stanlily, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend.  He'd had a lot of problems but the vets had finally figured out what was wrong and he was responding very well to treatment.  Then on Saturday he didn't want his breakfast and was taken in, where he passed away.

Five tiny kittens were found in a cardboard box next to a dumpster during yesterday’s rain storm. Luckily, they found their way to us, and are now safe and warm, with full bellies. ⁣

We have given them flower names, in honor of our Stanlily:⁣
Black boy (yellow collar) - Snowdrop⁣
Black boy (blue collar) - Snapdragon⁣
Tabby girl - Azalea⁣
Grey tuxie girl - Clary Sage⁣
Dark tabby tuxie girl - Dahlia⁣

My heart breaks when I hear stories like this.  Who would do something like that to any animal?  How cruel.

I'm glad they've found their way to TinyKittens.  They'll be cared for and loved, and given to forever homes.
