This is what Trump is concerned with on his trip:

"On Thursday, reports began surfacing from the president* that Trump was supposedly looking at making some big changes
to the new Air Force Ones. He thinks the color scheme isn't exciting enough, the reports stated."

And it doesn't say TRUMP across the front, I suppose.  He probably saw a photo of the military jet that Eisenhower used,
and briefly Kennedy. It was painted orange:

Strzok Treatment

Then there was this complete government meltdown in Congress yesterday: the Strzok hearing.

From Peter Strozk's opening statment at the hearing yesterday,
which can be read in full at the link below.

"I understand we are living in a political era in which insults and insinuation often drown out honesty and integrity. But the honest truth is that Russian interference in our elections constitutes a serious attack on our democracy. Most disturbingly, it has been wildly successful — sowing discord in our nation and shaking faith in our institutions.

I have the utmost respect for Congress’s oversight role, but I truly believe that today’s hearing is just another victory notch in Putin’s belt and another milestone in our enemies’ campaign to tear America apart.

As someone who loves this country and cherishes its ideals, it is profoundly painful to watch and even worse to play a part in."

And then the Republicans heads exploded.

I'm afraid he's gonna want a parade like the one he got yesterday at Blenheim castle.

And everyone on CNN is saying he must cancel the meeting w/putin (have to get a name/number for him), after...

WASHINGTON — Rod J. Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general, on Friday announced new charges against 12 Russian intelligence officers accused of hacking the Democratic National Committee, the Clinton presidential campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. The charges came just a few days before President Trump is expected to meet with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia in Helsinki, Finland.

I can't believe he's gone abroad and made the comments he's made about Germany and Theresa May, insinuating that she's not a good Prime Minister.

It's just getting more and more surreal. Now he gave an incredible off the cuff interview to a horrible rag called The Sun which defies belief. Then denied he'd said any of it despite it being recorded. Fake news apparently. God alone knows what he said to the Queen.

If I'm not mistaken, someone here asked why the Queen would even agree to meet with Trump.
One of the news programs mentioned last night that "the Queen doesn't get to choose what heads
of state she meets", that it's up to the PM. Is this true?  Not only that, the boorish a-hole was fifteen
minutes late, leaving everyone, especially the 92 year old Queen, standing out in the hot afternoon.

He's a stable genius, though, as you may have heard. Which means he knows all about shoveling shite.

Currently, the approval rating for the president* in Britain is 11%.
And the Trump supporters "go to idiot" on Fox news (Sean Hannity)
called all of the president's* protesters "angry liberal socialist freeloaders."

Yes the Queen must be above politics and she could not refuse to meet with Trump. However she has had to "entertain" some evil African dictators in the pas, Idi Amin comes to mind, so guess she can cope.
What was shown on our news was Trump standing in the front of the Queen before inspecting the guards. She had to step around from behind him and I am sure she is not use to that.  For him to do that to any woman let alone the Queen shows him to be below contempt. He has absolutely no manners.

I think I saw that same clip, but read it a different way - the Queen was trying to show him where to walk and he just didn't get it.  She tried a couple times to gesture and indicate where he should go but he was too stupid to figure it out.

didn't go over well...

London (CNN)The British public does not appear amused with President Donald Trump walking in front of Queen Elizabeth II on Friday, with one royal commentator describing the awkward stroll as reminiscent of "wandering up and down a golf course."

Trump ruffled feathers on social media after momentarily walking in front of the Queen during a reviewing of the troops at Windsor Castle.

In the encounter, Elizabeth appears to gesture Trump forward before he walks ahead and promptly puts on the brakes -- forcing the monarch to do an awkward sidestep around him.

But while Trump raised eyebrows by walking in front of the Queen -- he didn't technically break royal protocol, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.

That said, Trump still looked like he "might as well have been wandering up and down a golf course," Fitzwilliams told CNN.

Fitzwilliams said the confusion "gave the impression of dis-coordination," adding, "It proves he (Trump) doesn't bother to rehearse, because the thinks he doesn't need to."

On social media, the reaction was incredulous. "Did Donald Trump just WALK IN FRONT OF THE QUEEN?!?!?!" Halla Mohieddeen wrote on Twitter. T. Dorje posted, "Good grief. Queen Elizabeth pointed to the ground to show Trump where to walk and yet he still stepped and walked in front of her."

I can't figure out everyone's surprise or comments. The man is a mysoginistic cretin and doesn't know his orange ass from a hole in the ground.

The protocol is that the Queen, when inspecting troops with a visiting president, always walks on the side nearest to the lines of soldiers and always slightly in front. He must have had this dinned into him before the visit but just ignored it. She did try to indicate to him what to do but gave up and walked on the wrong side with him in front part of the time.

To keep any 92 year old, never mind a monarch, standing in the hot sun waiting for him is appalling. I can never ever remember anything like this happening before.

the article said he didn't "technically" break protocol (he just technically acted like an ass), and you just know he didn't ask for any assistance on how to behave properly, because he already knows everything.

It's just a lack of respect and common sense.  He should've known better.

If he had been at Trump tower, conducting official business with others, and someone crossed in front of him during the proceedings, taking the attention away from him and being a distraction, he wouldn't appreciate it at all.  That's basically what he did to the queen at those moments.
