And this too shall pass and absolutely NOTHING will be done about it.

According to what I read last night, the only reason we know about this is because
a Democrat (Dick Durbin) or Democrat staffers were in the room and reported it.
Otherwise it probably wouldn't have been reported at all. A few months ago the NY
Times reported a story on a meeting where Trump was quoted by a source to have
said things like this, but there were only R's in the meeting (mostly the Cabinet) and
to a tee they all went on record and said the story was false and the President never
made any such remarks.

Now we know they were lying. And these people included those (like McMasters) who
people cite as trying to keep the WH in check.

All pumpkin head will do, is not allow any Democrats or outsiders to attend these meetings so that no more of these "comments" get out and he is free to say what he wants, as we all know that the Republicans, to a person, have balls the size of peanuts.

(CNN)
On Thursday, in a meeting with a senators and House members on immigration, the President of the United States, asked this: "Why do we want all these people from 'shithole countries' coming here?"

Asked about the "shithole" comments, a White House official told CNN's Kaitlan Collins this:

"The President's 'shithole' remark is being received much differently inside of the White House than it is outside of it..."

http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/11/politics/trump-rock-bottom/index.html
Indeed it is.

He may be a president already known for his crude language and off-colour remarks demeaning other nations, but Donald Trump’s description of Haiti, El Salvador and some parts of Africa as “shithole countries” has sparked unprecedented international outrage.

Condemnation from around the world, including the countries named, followed swiftly after the initial report and, in some cases, in no less salty language than the president’s own choice words.

• The US ambassador to Senegal has been summoned to explain Trump’s remark. “I am shocked by the words of President Trump on Haiti and Africa,” Senegalese President Macky Sall said in an official tweet. “I reject them and condemn [them] vigorously. Africa and the black race deserve the respect and consideration of all."

• The US ambassador to Haiti has also been summoned. Haiti’s government said in a statement Friday that it is “deeply shocked” and strongly condemns these “abhorrent and obnoxious remarks” by Trump and Haiti’s largest newspaper condemned it as “racist and disgraceful” and that such comments have “no place in the relations between nations or people, even less so in the mouth of a president of a nation friendly to Haiti.”

• Jessie Duarte, the deputy secretary general of South Africa’s ruling African National Congress, said: “Ours is not a shithole country, and neither is Haiti or any country in distress.”

Botswana’s foreign ministry has summoned its US ambassador to express its displeasure over Trump’s remark, which it views as “highly irresponsible, reprehensible and racist,” and to “clarify if Botswana is regarded as a ‘shithole’ country, considering that there were Botswana nationals living in the US and others who wished to go there.”

El Salvador President Salvador Sánchez Cerén said it has sent a formal letter of protest to the US Government, “also highlighting the value of Salvadorans and remembering there were compatriots who worked on the reconstruction of the Pentagon after the unfortunate terrorist attacks of 2001.”

• Senior European Union politician Gianni Pittella said Mr Trump “has forgotten to engage his brain before talking” about immigrants and is not fit for office.

Former Mexican president Vincente Fox Quesada tweeted about Mr. Trump, “Your mouth is the foulest shithole in the world. With what authority do you proclaim who’s welcome in America and who’s not. America’s greatness is built on diversity, or have you forgotten your immigrant background, Donald?”

UN human rights spokesman Rupert Colville was uncharacteristically blunt. He described the remark as “racist.” He condemned Trump’s remarks as “shocking and shameful” he said at a briefing in Geneva. “You cannot dismiss entire countries and continents as ‘shitholes’ whose entire populations, who are not white, are therefore not welcome.”

Former UK Foreign Secretary David Miliband, who’s now president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee, said the Trump administration is “leading a race to the bottom on refugees and immigrants that is a betrayal of America’s future as well as of its history.”

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper said the president’s remark was “not racial. Not racially charged, but racist. Let’s not kid ourselves, the sentiment the president expressed today is a racist sentiment.”

^^^

Meanwhile, two Republican Senators who were in that meeting,
described below by Linda:

as we all know that the Republicans, to a person, have balls the size of peanuts.

...put out a joint statement together. Senator Tom Cotton (Arkansas) and Senator David Perdue
(Georgia) said they do not recall the President saying that. Which must mean those two gentlemen
hear things like that so much that it didn't register as anything out of the ordinary with them.

Of course, Trump then just denies making the comments and says "Probably should record future meetings
 - unfortunately, no trust!"

It doesn't matter if you record Trump saying things or not. Remember recently he was putting out the suggestion
that the Access Hollywood tape was not his voice? The man lives in the Twilight Zone and is trying to make that
a normality for everyone else.

I refuse and resist.

Anyone hear anything about this?  I have to stop watching CNN because unless there's a catastrophe with a lot of deaths and injuries that they can exploit, they don't cover anything but the Trump White House...I know he's a catastrophe, but there are other things going on in the country...even the world.

Ex-CIA officer Jerry Chun Shing Lee suspected of spying for China

A former CIA officer who was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of secrets is suspected of a much worse crime: betraying U.S. informants in China, sources familiar with the case told NBC News.

The former officer, Jerry Chun Shing Lee, 53, was arrested Monday after flying into New York on a Cathay Pacific flight from his home in Hong Kong, federal authorities announced.

Lee, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen, was charged with a single count of unlawfully possessing national defense information, based on a 2012 search that found him to be in possession of two notebooks containing the true names of CIA assets and covert facilities, which are some of the agency's most closely guarded secrets.

But sources familiar with the case say he is suspected of funneling information to China that caused the deaths or imprisonment of approximately 20 American agents, in one of the worst intelligence breaches in decades.

Chris Christie snubbed at Newark Airport VIP entrance, giving ex-Jersey governor a swift return to private life

BY - LEONARD GREENE

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is learning that life as a private citizen is no day at the beach.

Just three days after handing over the keys to the governor’s mansion, Christie was told by cops at Newark Airport to wait in line like everybody else.

According to reports, Christie was turned away from a VIP entrance at the biggest airport in his own home state.

The two-term Republican, who left office on Jan. 16, tried to go through an entrance he had used for eight years only to learn that his first-class expectations were just a flight of fancy.  Instead of getting the gubernatorial go-ahead, Christie and the state trooper assigned to him for protection were directed to the Transportation Security Administration screening lines at Terminal B.

Christie and the state trooper complied with the directions.

More proof, as if we needed it.  The story on Face the Nation was done last August, I heard an interview tonight on NPR with Christian Picciolini, link below.

Former skinhead and Life After Hate co-founder Christian Picciolini says that an Obama-era federal grant his organization received to help combat "far-right" extremism was rescinded under the Trump administration shortly after President Donald Trump took office.

"Under President Obama, my organization, Life After Hate, was awarded a $400,000 grant to help combat far-right extremism. And when President Trump took office, immediately that grant was rescinded," Picciolini told CBS News' John Dickerson on "Face the Nation" Sunday.

"We were the only organization of the pool of grantees that was focused on white supremacist, extremists and disengaging people from that movement," he said.
