If 45 wants his head on Mt. Rushmore so badly, why doesn't somebody cut it off and stick it up there on a pole?

With all Trump's troubles, he's using it to raise money for the next election!
Because: His supporters are worse than he is. They're only interested in "the
show." That's what I've come to believe, because nothing else makes much sense.
They like the circus and don't care about much else. In the future, if these people
complain about anything that someone they didn't vote for in the office does,
they should be laughed at and told to shut up.

Bread and circuses. ... Except in this case ordinary folk aren't getting the bread. They were lied to about that, and the Trumpites fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

Why wait, let's just laugh at them now...plenty of reasons.

So I wasn’t too bothered about the Wedding. But I’ve just switched on, waiting for the bride to arrive, and it DOES all look rather wonderful!

My girl and I were watching (don't tell anyone!), she looks beautiful. Even my anarchist anti royal man had a peek!(he would kill me if he knew I wrote that!)

I naturally have watched it in its entirety. I knew the broadcast started at 9.05pm our time but was a bit concerned when I discovered that the actual service did not start until 11pm our time. Now going to bed at 12.45am. For a person that is usually in bed by 9.30pm that is something. It was wonderful. I was in Paris for William and Kate but that was all over French TV however I do not think I watched the entire service as I did not want to spend valuable sightseeing time sitting in the hotel during the day. I vividly remember going and watching Charles and Diana at my mother's home.

I didn't watch, but from news clips I've seen, I'm sorry I missed Bishop Curry's sermon. Apparently that was quite something!

Earlier in the week, I saw a brief news clip of Bishop Curry with the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Bishop Curry referred to the C. of E. as "the mother church," which, of course, it is for ECUSA, and then he went on to day, "Everything's good in Mama's house!"

And the archbishop said, "I can't believe you just said that!"

So many of the broadcast people had LOTS of comments about his sermon. I watched the BBC America coverage and it was very good, but the announcers were speechless when trying to comment on his fire and brimstone delivery.
Then I watched CBS's coverage, and their comments were great. The two black announcers said that this is what it is like every Sunday in black churches. They thought nothing of it.
When asking the British commentators, to a person they all said, very gleefully, that they LOVED watching the faces of the British congregation and their not knowing how to take him, as none had ever been subject to this type of delivery in church before.

Oh, I loved it, Elena, and don't care who knows. The royal weddings always appeal to my romantic side.
I recorded 2 separate coverages, the BBC America coverage and one of the US network coverages and enjoyed the both.

Whether you find it amusing or not (I did) SNL did a sketch on the
Royal wedding reception and they had the costumes down to a tee!
How they got them so awesome in such a short time is pretty amazing.

(If the youtube link doesn't work, the video is featured on a number of news articles.)

And last night at my weekly (usually) movie visit with some friends, I wonder why we watched
the musical Royal Wedding last night?   :D
