Evening diners and new diner!

Had a lovely day today with my son and his gf. We went to a beautiful part of Southern Sweden, walked along the beach and had a swim in ice cold water! Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh! But it was wonderful after wards, LOL.

Then a wonderful lunch which was my birthday present from them.

Was the water colder than the Pacific Ocean when you came to visit, Sonja, and stuck your foot in the water? :D

I just finished dinner myself....some battered cod, and corn on the cob.

Yummy!

I eat a lot of fish (preferably broiled, not battered) but the corn on the cob is a special treat.

*Walks in, looks around, sees friends!* Hi everybody! :) What a shiny new diner! I'm going to have a root beer and look at the menu--I know I'll have pie at the end, but I need something with protein and a green veg. Maybe fried chicken to celebrate the new digs.

It's hot and humid in my part of NJ. I'm working on staying cool and thinking of the weather as practice for our trip to Florida (West Palm Beach and Orlando). We leave here Friday afternoon and I am not ready! I love the new avatars for Sara and Mark.

Hi, Jenny!  Sorry to miss you again, but your dinner selection sounds great, too.

Ouch!   :'(

Roofer was here for an estimate.  He will call my cell with numbers next week, while I'm away.  He's older now, of course, and doesn't actually do roofing any more, but he has a helper for that.  He'll do the siding, if I decide to get that replaced.

I think I'm giving up on pictures.  My new computer doesn't have the software to handle them the way the old one did, and we can't find any suitable software anywhere.  I had to take my last ones to Wal-Mart to get a few prints.

Darn.

I had salad, then a couple of Hot Pockets Angus steak and cheese sandwiches.

Hi, Chuck, Linda, Mark, Fritz, Sara and any others I haven't seen yet.

It's good to be in the new Diner.

Hello Debbie. Good to see you. I am finally kidless and just ate supper, so I am here for a bit.

Yummy to this too, Linda.

Lilia fell off the bed!?   :o  Big ouch.  I guess she's okay now.

Yeah, she's a sturdy little girl. Her problem is she is constantly moving and doesn't watch where she is going or what she is doing.

Darn.

Yeah.  Bummer.

I had a big salad for dinner, the remaining third of one I bought for lunch, and then I added some other ingredients to it.  The "create your own" from lunch had green lettuce, white curly noodes, tomatoes, broccoli, tuna, turkey, and chickpeas.  Tonight I added some mandarin oranges, more lettuce, and walnut pieces to fill up the bowl again.

Yes, I sat on the patio and listened to it and watched the showers up in the higher elevations.

I can understand that, at her age.

Hiya Chuck!
Just as I was going to sit and carry on conversations here, Lilia decided not to take a nap (she fell off the bed) and then I got busy folding clothes and putting on another load of clothes and then Jonathan got home. (Mom is out of town this week).

Anyway..............

LOL @ Fell off the bed.  I assume she's ok!
