I can understand that, at her age.

So true!

Rick had a theory that we are only allotted so much energy in our lifetimes, and we use it all up when we are that age, and have none left over for when we reach our age!! :D

LOL @ Fell off the bed.  I assume she's ok!

Yes, she's fine. I heard this bang bang clunk, and figured out what she had done. She was horsing around on the bed instead of taking a nap.

Linda, thought you might find this article about the new jumbotron inside ND stadium interesting.

Oh cool, Fritz!! There are always folks who are going to be against it. I have mixed feelings. I like watching games on TV, because one can see all the action and see plays over again, but with a jumbotron you can be there in the action and feel the excitement but still see the replays.

I vaguely remember falling out of a high chair at  restaurant that had a granite floor, when I was a kid.  Must have ended up with a big bump on my head, and came home to Grandma's afterwards to get an ice pack and some TLC.  I was fine after a while, but Grandma was the most worried.

I remember riding a very large tricycle down the slope of an overpass back in New Orleans, and at the end was a large concrete block. I lost control of the tricycle and hit the block, and the trike flipped and fell on my head. Had to get several stitches. I think the scar is still there, it was noticeable when my hair was very short in Army days.

That's another big ouch, Fritz!

Good night, everyone, my phone rang and I missed the birds.

I made a new avatar for Sara as well.   Sara, if you don't like it, I can remove it,  but I think it's lovely!

This is a nice new diner! And Chuck,  :-* thank you so much for doing that - I do like it! And it was taken by my grandson Sebastian when we had a morning out together in Port Douglas, North Queensland, in January, in humid tropical heat. Sorry, just musing! I'll tell him anyway - he'll be pleased. :)

*Walks in, looks around, sees friends!* Hi everybody! :) What a shiny new diner! I'm going to have a root beer and look at the menu--I know I'll have pie at the end, but I need something with protein and a green veg. Maybe fried chicken to celebrate the new digs.

It's hot and humid in my part of NJ. I'm working on staying cool and thinking of the weather as practice for our trip to Florida (West Palm Beach and Orlando). We leave here Friday afternoon and I am not ready! I love the new avatars for Sara and Mark.

That sounds a nice menu, Jenny. What kind of pie? Though as I've just had toast and coffee for breakfast I'll have to wait a bit!
