I cannot believe how big Ashton and Leah are. The first day of school, Ashton 5th grade and Leah 2nd grade!

Wow!  They are so big now!

Time goes by quickly, huh?

I was talking to my friend Cor, and she said we needed to get together.  I told her I'd like to do a fire pit night (they have one in their backyard).  She said "We need to do it in the next two weeks, so you can say good-bye to Kayla before she goes to college."

My first thought...."Damn,  I was at the hospital the day she was born!"

talk about feeling old!!!

I hope so too.

He was not going to call me tonight, but will tomorrow night. He was hoping to make it to Kentucky tonight.

Tell me about it!  My niece who was just born yesterday is heading off to college next week.  Where did the time go?

I like traditional pizza toppings. If I want chicken wings or cheese steak, I'll get those, but not on pizza. I got pepperoni and double mushrooms.

Same here.  Chicken on a pizza?  Bleck!

Although, beware!  Yesterday after work I was too sweaty and tired to go anywhere so I went off my diet and ordered a pizza with tomatoes, onions, and anchovies.  I have been up twice already with the dry mouth.  Drunk about a gallon of water and my mouth is STILL dry!  Damn salty anchovies!  My God!  Serves me right.  No food today!

Evening diners!

I'm home, safe and sound.

Had a wonderful trip to Alberta, we saw some of the movie sites and did some other stuff too.

Nice weather most of the time. Alberta is beyond description beautiful. We did some serious hiking (for us!  :D) most every day.

Visited Calgary (met up with Mouk!), Canmore, Morraine Lake (the world's most beautiful place), Lake Louise, Banff, the Twist Farm, Ennis' Trailer site, Goat Creek (campsite 2), Elbow Creek (sweet life site, although all is gone since the floodings four years ago), campsite 1, Upper Kananaskis Lake (I did once), and probably a couple more places that I can't recall right now.

A wonderful and restful vacation.
