Ooooooh, I've heard so much about the Santa Ana winds.

We used to get them in Denver, too, but I don't know if they were as bad as what you're getting.  70-80 mph seems terribly high.

Yes this is category 1 hurricane winds and they just can't fight the fires with this high wind.

More waylaid plans.  No nap yet.

I just got an email from the Texas lawyer, with copies of two "filings" (I think) which he wants us to approve and let him know if he can record.

Have to look it over, but I think this is the long-awaited beginning of his settling first my dad's estate (leaving every to Mom), and then settling Mom's estate.

Yay for progress!

Slowly but surely!

Staying warm, Debbie, except when I go out with Oliver. Our neighbor has warned us of a large bobcat in the neighborhood, so I don't let Oliver go out by himself. Bobcats hunt during the day too. So it it coyotes at night and bobcats during the day.

Wow. They're getting y'all from all sides.

Hi Debbie! It's good to be able to just go with the flow and be able to change plans. This happens to me sometimes.

I had some egg salad on crackers for an early lunch, so I will probably heat up some soup for an early supper. Still don't have much of an appetite.

I am not worried about my MRI because I have had several in the past, just not sure how I am going to be able to hold my knee still if they need to put it in a position that causes pain. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Egg salad and soup can't hurt anyone.  Especially when you have so many eggs.   ;D

The MRI shouldn't be a problem, but I understand what you mean about needing to hold your knee still.  When I get bone density scans, I have to hold my legs still with the knees bent somewhat awkwardly.  It's never a problem for me, but if I had the knee pain that you've been having, it might be difficult.  Good luck!

Sounds like they're covering all the bases, those bobcats and coyotes.

That's terrible.

We actually used to like the Santa Ana winds because they would warm things up on a cold late-autumn's night, but they weren't that strong and I can't remember usually having to think of fire danger.

Just read in the Australian news, couples who married overseas will have their marriages recognized after midnight. It's already Friday there.

Well, I need to sign off. I'd forgotten that I am going with Jonathan and Amy to the Lodge for supper and then the yearly memorial service. Remembering the members who passed away in 2017.

Maybe see ya'll later.

Enjoy your supper and the ceremony, Linda!

Heading out for choir practice in a little bit.

I have to remember that it's Thursday!  ;D
