1. You weren't at all. 2. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

But you didn't know me before I was a Brokie! Pure as the driven snow I was. ::)
There were only the two of them on the mountain flying in the euphoric, bitter air, looking down on the hawk's back and the crawling lights of vehicles on the plain below, suspended above ordinary affairs....

So, fourth try

I am pretty happy about this one, that's why I wanted to show it to you before I f*%# it up with watercolours.

(If anyone gets tired of this anatomy of a painting please tell me, I understand)

This is great.

Leave it exactly this way - don't add colours!

Einfach so lassen.

No? Just pencil? But with shadows, oder?

I'm seriously thinking about photocopying it and trying things with the copies before I destroy this one!

Good idea! It looks very promising. And also nice as it is!

I think this is my favourite scene in the movie, not the peach one, but this moment when Elio lets his feelings scape. Sigh.

It could be mine too, but perhaps for slightly different reasons? It’s the start of the short time when neither is holding anything back. Elio has got over his rather negative reaction to their FNIB; Oliver knows this and enters wholeheartedly into the relationship - he has been amused and pleased by the peach moment (and in the book he makes something more profound out of it); E has also introduced the aura of sadness as you say, Elena, which from now on will never go away; and it continues into their conversation on the terrace (where IS that actually supposed to be?) where they are laughing, cuddling, and already reminiscing like longtime lovers.

Nein, gar nichts verändern.

And making photocopies of it is certainly a good idea!

Yeah, I think that's what I was trying to say. Up to this moment they are so cautious around each other, like stepping on eggs, we say in Spanish. And this is the moment when it explodes and there's no more reins to hold. There ain't no reins on this one.
