You'll find Jonn that the book is stuffed with description and dialogue and thoughts. It is a wonderful FULL book. It was a delight (for me) to read.

Yes, do read it, Jonn. And I know it’s not the same for everyone, but it felt very right to me to read it afterwards. It illuminated and deepened the characters and all the parts of the film that were from the book, and then their few, poignant meetings over the next twenty years. And, if you’re someone who needs to create a satisfying ending, it’s not totally ruled out by the final few pages and by what André Aciman himself has said - which allows us to create a future. :)
“When we grow older still we’ll speak about those two young men as if they were two strangers..... And we’ll want to call it envy, because to call it regret would break our hearts.”

Call Me by Your Name, André Aciman.

I was glad I read it afterwards too. I have usually read the book before I see a film, but I watched CMBYN with no preconceptions and I think that's one of the reasons it grabbed me so much.

Ing, the harlequin gif is great  :D

Quick note of thanks to Ing again for the You Are The Blood vid suggestion earlier - not one I'd seen before but it contains so many of the prettiest interviews and photoshoots - you have to deal with the psychedelia/blood lab stuff at the beginning :D

Just to note that there is a profile of Luca Guadagnino in the Oct. 15 issue of The New Yorker, if anyone is interested in reading it.

If you've been on Twitter the last few days, you've noticed that it is absolutely saturated with images and videos of Timmy at one festival or another. Today it's the London Film Festival and Timmy is in a flower print suit. Thank you Harry Styles. There's almost nothing else on twitter these days but promotion for the Beautiful Boy movie.
May the bridges I burn light the way forward.

There was an interview with him about it on NPR Weekend Edition this morning.

Lance I saw him at LFF today! Went with another Brokie of old. He looked really beautiful.

Might upload some of my fairly useless pics if I can persuade Uli to help. They are nice on my phone, with little bursts of life and movement, but will make lousy stills   :D

Ummm, so don't delay any posts waiting for me, my pics are basically isolated body parts and the backs of random people's heads  :D

I will review and may post something if feasible, but as already mentioned they are not great stills, even though three of them join up on my phone to make a brief, close-up, Oliver's-eye-view of Timmy's face - plus sound!  :-*

So Lance if you haven't already, I'd recommend you google  :D
