Our high on Saturday is supposed to be 79° and lots of rain. The remnants of Hurricane Bud  is coming up to the state for the weekend. We actually got a little downpour a little bit ago.

Yay for rain!

Last minute things.....

Have to remember to go up and get a hair cut at noon tomorrow.

Could walk if it's nice, but I also should get gas at some point, so I don't have to stop on my way out of town on Sunday.

Have to check my cash to see if I have enough small denominations for tips, etc., otherwise might stop by the bank for small bills, when I have the car out.

Haven't heard from the concrete people, as to when they will take their forms down and want the rest of the money.  He said he would "catch up with me" and didn't seem in that much of a hurry, since he did the job in June rather in August, which is what I'd originally planned for.

Oh Linda and Debbie, this map gives a view of the perimeters of the fires that are going on out west there.

https://www.geomac.gov/viewer/viewer.shtml

As you use the roller on the mouse to focus on an area of the green triangles, the perimeter appears in yellow.

The names of the fire areas appear as you focus in.

Not much time left!  Are you pretty much ready for the trip?   How long will you be gone again?

I'm basically ready, except I have to take my mind off of the home repairs going on here, and some legal stuff going on in Texas.  Something that, as "new landowners," my brother and sister and I have to deal with.

The trip itself....I have two suitcases packed with clothes, a smallish pillow, etc.

I still have to put some things back in the car (drinks such as water bottles, Cokes, V-8, lemonade to keep in the hotel refrigerators).  And I'm going to put all my unread magazines in a paper bag, and have them to read through if there's some down time at the hotels (there always is).

Still have to pack my medicine for two weeks, and some cash.  But I hope to do that tomorrow.  Last chance would be Saturday.

Oh, for how long?  I'm leaving on Father's Day (Sunday June 17) and coming back on the Sunday two weeks later (June 1).

Thanks, Fritz.  I want to look at this in a few minutes.

I was downstairs cleaning up the kitchen after dinner, and still have a little more to do there.

Interesting map, Fritz.

More fires than I actually realized.  And the Ute is huge.

Hi, Linda.  I'm glad  you stopped by before I went to bed.

Are you getting rested up by now, after your hard day with Lilia?

Naps are good, by the way, for both of you.

Good night, everyone.

Fritz, I may not be around much tomorrow, but plans are uncertain.  See you sometime.
