So I have to put up a couple Dodger photos for myself!
I'll choose one with a beard for you, Fritz. (Chris Taylor)

Well, I did not know this when I chose that picture, Fritz, but I looked up some things
about Chris Taylor and: He attended the University of Virginia and played college baseball
for the Virginia Cavaliers. He was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. He's only 27.

His initials are CAT. Meow!

Nat's-O's game rain delayed. Quite a storm line passing through.

mod: thought it might be postponed, but they completed it. Not good.

Oh no!

I know you're playing Baltimore, was the rain affecting their stadium, too.
I'm assuming the two are relatively close together?

Because of the weather problems the Dodgers had to play the Cubs three games in 24 hours.
That can't be good. So I'm sure that favors the home team as they're used to their surroundings
and ball park. But what happened is what I've been concerned about. No Dodger home runs in
three games and they lost two of the three. Cannot rely on the long ball. It's the first series
they've lost in a little over a month.

I wonder if, so far, here's been a record number of rainouts and postponements this year? I see
that already today the A's/White Sox game is rained out. The A's alone have been postponed six times. Three alone with the Minnesota Twins. Dodgers are playing the Mets this weekend and
Saturday rain is scheduled at game time, which happens to be on Fox this weekend, so I can
watch it!

Matt Kemp, ahead so far in All-Star Balloting for Outfielders. (Three Outfielders are picked.)

Keep smiling Matt!

Yeah, the two stadiums are about 35 miles apart air distance. The systems that passed through yesterday evening were pretty widespread.

Other than the Cody Bellinger Grand Slam yesterday against the Mets in New York:

This was my favorite game:

K.C. Rookie Rosell Herrera Robs Houston HR, Then Triples in the Ninth as Royals Beat Astros 1-0

Royals rookie Rosell Herrera kept the game scoreless with a home-run robbery in the eighth inning
and hit an RBI triple in the ninth, and struggling Kansas City beat the Houston Astros 1-0 on Friday night.

Dodgers Tie MLB Record with 7 Solo Home Runs in Win vs. Mets

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2782763-dodgers-tie-mlb-record-with-7-solo-home-runs-in-win-vs-mets

The Los Angeles Dodgers tied an MLB modern-era record in their 8-7 win over the New York Mets on Sunday.
Dodgers hitters combined for seven solo home runs, which is the most by one team in a single game, according
to ESPN Stats & Information. It was also the most home runs by a team hit in the Met's Citi Field Ballpark.

If someone told me that the Dodgers would hit 7 home runs in a game I'd have thought the win was a foregone
conclusion. But no one was on bzse when ANY of the home runs were hit. The game went extra innings and the
Mets 2 home runs accounted for 5 runs scored. It was a close win for us, 8 - 7.
