Should be leaving on Wednesday the 29th of May, returning on the 4th of June or so. It depends on what people have planned after the Reunion.

I've got accommodations on campus Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

So far we're not planning any football weekends this fall, but that's subject to change.

We'll see how things work out.

The nurse has come by, he sees the dermatologist tomorrow.

We should be heading out to do state inspection in an hour or so.

I hope Earl gets some good news, Fritz. It doesn't sound like he's progressed very much, and it's been too long. Maybe they'll finally try the bariatric chamber?

Hello Debbie. I hope for the best for your uncle and aunt. It sounds very difficult and I'm guessing it brings up memories of your mother. I'm keeping you and them in my thoughts.

Evening, Ingwriter. :) We have sun today, for a change, and the forecast predicts more of it until Sunday. I hope they're right--it would be nice to dry out a bit. Hope the writing is going well and you've found the rhythm you need for the last chapters.

Jonn, I'm hoping those kidney stones stay quiet for a while. When Mr. Jenny had them he was in so much pain until they gave him morphine, he couldn't lie still. They had him in the hospital a couple of days, but the stone or stones didn't pass, so they sent him home with a strainer to check for the stone when it did. He never found it, but it stopped hurting. Hasn't had any trouble since. I know they didn't consider using the laser, but yours have been there bothering you for three years! If they're too small, I guess they can't do it, but I'd hope they would give you a better way to manage the attacks.

Linda, I hope you're managing Lilia's care and not hurting too much. It's a lot to ask, managing an active four year old for a week. They owe you a vacation, seems to me.

Glad to hear about your great scores and the team's stellar results, Chuck! :) Enjoy the absence of rain.

In case you stop in, Elena, I know what it's like to get overstretched and need some alone time. Good luck with it all.

Thanks a lot, Jennydearleinchen.

It's working pretty well right now.

Here's to sun for you and for us, for once simultaneously!

Hey Jenny! Thanks, it might come to that. Also there is some scar tissue around the wound that the nurse thinks might be inhibiting healing, he'll bring that up to the dermatologist and wound doctor.

The car passed state inspection, ready for another year.

Hi, Jenny.  Thanks so much.  I'm hoping for the best for him, still.

You are certainly right about this bringing back memories, though.  When my sister and I got called to the hospital's ICU at 2 AM (about 12 hours before our mom passed away) we arrived at the hospital in separate cars, and my uncle and aunt were already there.  They finally left about 5 AM so my uncle could get some rest, but he said he had come to see "my little sister."  There are so many memories of those times, that have been coming back in the last week or so.

All the best to you, too, I hope to see you one of these days somehow.

Yes indeed, glad not to be travelling then. I don't think they've ever scheduled a reunion on Memorial Day weekend.

Come to think of it, I have to check it out, whether it's always scheduled the weekend after Memorial Day, I've never paid attention.

We went to Harris Teeter on the way back, we were really low on Hot Pockets and they were on sale there.

And we got one package of something we hadn't had in ages, Nutter Butter peanut butter wafers. So delish! But just one package. They were devoured shortly after we got home.
