Well, as you all know by now, as of today cannabis is now legal for recreational purposes in Canada. In Quebec, it's controlled by the provincial government (SQDC). In some other provinces it's private or a mix of both. Anyhoo, one of the two downtown outlets in Montreal is near my work and when it opened at 10:00 am there was a lineup around the block, and we're talking a really long block. I walked passed there after work, just out of curiosity of course, and the lineup hadn't let up. At least everyone seemed to be in a good mood. "It was like shopping at a David's Tea" said one happy customer. Price-wise we have the lowest at $5.65 a gram.
