From me too.
Btw, we just watched an Australian movie - Peter Weir, from 1977.

Yes, exactly, one of my all-time-favourites.

Look it up and watch it, it's excellent. (Like almost all Peter Weir films.)

Anzac Day again.
I am in Sydney. Since moving to NZ, I have only been there for 2 Anzac Days (2010 & 2018). I was in France and attended the Dawn Service at Villers Bretonneux in 2015. (I went to Gallipoli for Anzac 2002). The rest have been here in Sydney. As usual my sister and I went to the Dawn Service in Martin Place, Sydney. My sister will be 85 in 2 weeks and I do not know how she manages it. We left her home at 3am, on the 3.20am train arrived Martin Place about 3.50. The service started at 4.15am and we had to stand right through. It finished about 5.15am. Walked back to the station and had coffee and Anzac biscuits provided free by CityTrains. Back home just after 6am and I had to lie down for a few hours but she is now ironing while watching the march through the city on TV.
I do love singing my 2 national anthems (Australia and New Zealand) at the Dawn Service whether here in Sydney or back home in Dunedin.
Later we will watch the Gallipoli Dawn Service (12.30pm our time) then the Villers Bretonneux service( 1.30pm here).
There is a new museum there now which was only in planning stages when I was there in 2015 so I would like to return one year. I would like to also visit Le Quesnoy which has much the same relationship to NZ as Villers Bretonneux has to Australia.
