I emailed about this 7 year old boy.  From his profile on Austin Pets Alive, he looks like a hound mix.  It all depends on if he gets along with cats...otherwise he seems like a calm boy, and would like a quiet home where he can retire.  There's a cute video of him below...

I heard back from the woman who is fostering Twister, and he's not a match for us.  He needs a home with no other pets.  But they do have a matchmaker site at Austin Pets Alive, they match pets with the type of home they need, so I'll try that.  I hadn't really made up my mind to get another dog, his face just got to me

Hi Linda, he's 6 1/2 years old.  He sounds like he might fit in with me and Emmett.  With me working from home, it makes everything so much easier when it comes to having a dog.  I can be there for them all the time.

His name, for whatever reason, is Telemetry    I think that would change if he comes to live with us.

this is the email I got from his foster mom, it does sound like a good match for us...I love that she calls him a potato 

I'm Telemetry's foster mom, Panika. This potato in search of a couch to occupy enjoys short walks, cuddling with his favorite human and meatballs. I'd be happy to introduce you to this snuggle bug and am available after 5:30 pm during the week for either socially distanced in-person or virtual meet-and-greets.

Telemetry has done well with my cat so long as my cat is not stepping on him--my cat feels the same way about him. However, even their less positive interactions have only involve a bit of grumbling at each other--there's been no snapping or swiping.
