They do mention that hat brand by name in the short story, but not in the movie, I don't think. No hat brand mentioned there.

Been a while since I've been here !!

Yes...it is mentioned in the s/s that Jack wore a black Resistol.
Ennis wore a SmithBilt Hat. The shop is in Calgary.
For the summer Ennis wore a straw/raffia woven Shady Brady Cosmo Cowboy hat.
I know....I have one  :)

I was just on EBay - the soft-cover Oscar consideration book (pictured below) is up for bid on ebay now. Picture below is to show what the item's cover looks like, the 4 books from 4 different sellers are NOT autographed, like the one pictured below.

Also on EBay, someone is selling the issue of Variety where our "thank you" ad to everyone involved with Brokeback Mountain appeared.

I still have 3 copies of this.

MOD: Damn I just looked at what it's going for. I could make money if anyone is actually going to pay that much for it!!!!

I've got one somewhere, my NYC sister got it for me the day it came out.

I've got all my BBM stuff in a couple of huge bins. They're in that closet I'm cleaning out. Those are staying though.

AMPAS should have one in their archives!

I don't think you'll get any money, it's still listed on Ebay at that price.

I still search on Ebay on Brokeback occasionally, and see if I can find any new items up for bid.

Usually it's copies of the DVD, or various movie posters.

I seem to recall there was (back in the day) some sort of collection of cards that when unfolded, had pop-up images from the movie.  IIRC, they were available in Asian countries, but I was never able to find them anywhere.

Have just been reading about Memorabilia that has been sold/collected
from BBM. Does any one know if it is Jakes/Jacks....Ennis'/Heath own writing on
the post cards ?? We only saw Ennis writing " You bet " thats if it really was
Heath writing the message.

It would be cool to see people creating more original memorabilia based on Ang Lee's film and Annie Proulx's short story.
