Photo Captioning's Greatest Hits
« on: November 13, 2006, 07:06:31 PM »
Hello Photo Caption Fans, and welcome to the Photo Captioning's Greatest Hits thread.  The purpose of this thread is to go through all the previously posted captions, and bring them here for review.  There are three steps to be followed.

#1.  Each members can only bring over two captions a day.  Any more than that will clog the thread.

#2.  When you bring the caption over, please do it as a quote, so that the original poster gets credited for the caption.

#3.  Please do not post comments or conversations in the thread.  While that is allowed in the original "Photo Captions" thread, this thread is for captions alone.

Thanks, and let's see what everyone's favorites are!!!

I'll repost the first two posts in the original thread, as examples.

"…in the family homestead of his dead lover, the shirts they wore while cowboying together long before: shabby denim and weary cotton, wrapped in each other's arms." Like this. Always.

He either fears his fate too much
Or his deserts are small
Who dares not put it to the touch
To win or lose it all

Still one of my favorites - it's not mine, I nicked it from another site.

One of the best from the Master!

Not so funny this time, grab a hanky, you've been warned:

Jack Twist:
Congratulations, Ennis Del Mar! You've just won a no-expense paid free entry into the wonderfull world of homosexuality! You won't believe your eyes as you fall madly in love with me, risking all that you are, for a frustrating 20 years of true, but infrequent love! You'll look over your shoulder with paranoia as you cross the street on your daily trips to the post office where you desperately wait for my postcards! You'll puke your guts out with loneliness during the long months in between! You'll be thrilled to pieces as ex-wives and girlfriends demand explanations that terrify you to your core! You'll quit jobs and wreck your life just to be with me a few weeks a year! You'll cry alone, in the night, when I'm dead! You'll scratch and claw and fight your way through life, only to end up with nothing, but memories of better days. Congratulations, Mr. Del Mar, you are today's big winner!!!

Ennis Del Mar:
Long as you love me, Jack, as long as you love me.[/b]

My daddy never once came to see me.
Well, there was that one time in high school...

But I don't like to talk about it...

That's why I drink...

Ennis: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Jack: "A lightning killed 42 sheep: Sheila, Shirley, Samantha, Sabrina, Shelley, Summer, Sally, Sandra, Sybil, Simone, Sarah, Scarlett, Sharon, Sadie, Selena, Serena, Shannon, Sacha, Savannah, Serafina, Shania, Sharlene, Shaunna, Shawn, Sylvia, Sydney, Suzy, Susannah, Sunny, Stephanie, Stella, Stacy, Sophie, Sonya, Solange, Soraya, Skylar, Sissy, Silvana, Sigorney, Sienna and Shona. Heath: Uhhh...sorry...forgot

Jake: Um, wasn't me it was him.  He started it.

The Bitch is Back!

Bobby: "Holy Minnie of Pearl! I turn my back for FIVE MINUTES and this place goes to H-E-Double-Toothpicks in a gold-plated Easter Basket. Hey Ma--how many peroxides died for your do?  Meanwhile Gramma's still channeling a Saturn Five with the ol hair--Houston, we are go for launch! Somebody tell her--it's 1976, not 1769! And I see Gramps is still tryin to squeeze one more mpg outta his hair oil. And will someone please tell me what's with the turquoise? We went to all the trouble to exterminate every last Indian in the West, and for what? So we could sit around looking like a bunch of Kansas City faggots."

Jack, desperately: "Bobby!"

Bobby: "And there he is, folks--Larry Lightloafers himself! Do you believe this? Burt Reynolds Jr. is starring in PORNOGRAPHIC MOTOVATIONAL POSTERS for HOMOS! And his moustache is talking to people. What's it saying, Daddy-O? Lemme guess: 'Parking in rear.' 'Slap or tickle?' 'He can suck the chrome off a bumper.' By the way, how's that buddy of yours, Penis del Mar?

(Stunned silence.)

Bobby: "Hey! What's a guy gotta do for some food around here? What're y'all waitin for--a matin call?"
