^^^ He's very good.  The tonality, color, shadows and composition are outstanding.  The subject matter and coverage is long over-due.  These groups of great people have always been "in the shadows...." as far as the general public is concerned.  Sadly, outta sight, outta mind.  Oh I wish it were not true! His personal story reflects much.

Consider scrolling down for some shots from his web site.   

Warning: You may want to avoid the above site if you have any work reservations. Most shots are ~~mostly work-safe - depending though. I could see 1 or 2 getting you into trouble.

He's very talented, and I hope his work gets a wider audience.

Just a word for anyone who sees the pics and thinks about copying them and pasting them here,  he is a professional photographer, and I'm sure his work is copyright protected, so do not post his photos directly to this site.

Posting a link is fine, however.

Well church doctrine still opposes it, so it may be voted down. The more repressed the country the closer people tend to stick to doctrinal interpretations.

Looks like the vote was 67%-33%. How free and fair it was is quite impossible to say, but the government usually gets its way.

I'll take it! And when people say it wasn't free and fair, just remind them that in similarly Catholic Ireland, which is not an authoritarian government, there was a similar result.

As for Cuba's politics regarding LGBT issues, Castro's niece had a lot to do with the change (and before anyone tells me, yes, I know this article is from 2016, it's for historical purposes to point out where the change came from):
