My deepest sympathy to Jackie's Family and friends from a long time "reader" of this message board. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember watching BBM in Linda's house in Texas, sitting just in front of Jackie.  At the end, she started singing along to the songs during the credits, and then other people joined in.  A very special moment for me.

Sweet dreams Jackie.  You were a truly remarkable woman.

I take comfort in the thought that, as our own stars blink out over the coming decades,
Jackie will be there to greet each of us the way she welcomed us as we stumbled in here.
She will be the Polaris of our little corner of the Brokeback galaxy.
Until we meet again, Jackie.

Has anyone been in touch with, or able to contact Paul (MeJack)... I know that he and Jackie were very close....

No... I was thinking about him and most likely he doesn't know.

Wow. Yet another loss. I only knew Jackie from being online here, and she was a great lady. May she rest in peace.

I'm so grateful I have this place to go to now...

... I feel exhausted, shocked and relieved at the same time - Jackie is no longer where we can see her but she is definitely around, and she is free of pain.
And she's with Heath somehow, I just know it.

((((((((Nellie))))))) thankyou so much for posting and please take care of yourself... I know, I also must think of some kind of meaning to all this.... for me, it just can't be a coincidence that both Jackie and Heath pass away within the same day. I both can't belive it, and I can.

Another comforting thought is that Jackie's family get to experience the love of her Brokeback family.... And knowing that Jackie knew how LOVED she was is also comforting...

.. I must take a break..
Well there's a bridge and there's a river that I still must cross...

Oh my God.

I haven't been here in ages, came here because when I returned home from a lovely day out with my mom our neighbour, who was looking after my son, told me that Heath had died. I was shocked, and had the urge to come here -
.... only to find that Jackie, died, too.

I don't have any words, this is so sad, and I'm sure this place (not only this forum, but planet Earth, too) will be a grayer place without her.
