^^^^^^
Ugh, hope the humidity's not bad.
Last night when I went to bed the rather large moon in the sky was red.
Redder than I'd ever seen it. It was spooky and eerie.
It's from the massive wildfires happening north of Los Angeles, in Santa Clarita.
Because of it's terrain and proximity to Los Angeles, a lot of TV series and films
are shot there.
Today the smoke has made a thick layer of haze over the city and kept the heat in
instead of letting it escape at all. It's currently 94°.
The forecast was changed from "Hot and Sunny" to "Partly Sunny, Hot and Smoky."
There's white ash from the fires blowing around and in the San Fernando Valley it
must be worse.
So, not only heat, but smoke and ash to go with it. Ugh.
