Has the flooding along the Rhine forced anyone out of their homes yet?

Not that I heard of - in any case, not in our area here.

And still no end in sight in Paris and here at the Rhine, it seems.

This is just terrible, Ingy. What a horrible situation for those affected by this.

And it's happening all the time now, everywhere on the planet. It has become almost 'normality'.

Unfortunately so very true. I often worry about what is going to be left for my grandkids.

I recently remarked to someone that "weather" related stories used to be an
occasional feature on the nightly news programs. Now it is every day.

I hope you get a dry spell soon, so this disaster can end!

We're getting a cold snap,  and are expecting rain and snow tomorrow.

Thanks, Chuckster. Even the worst can't last forever - that's what I always tell myself.

NJ is hit with a heat wave.  Well.....sort of.

We were near 70 degrees today, and tomorrow will be a little over that amount.

However, I still have a gut feeling that we'll have  one more snow storm before winter is over.

Austin was high 70s today and really humid, but a cold front is due and we won't get out of the 50s tomorrow, then back up, then back down  ::)

I heard about this on the news tonight. There is a big storm that is going to hit the Northeast coast Friday and into the weekend.
