Room for interior decoration
« on: August 31, 2008, 01:57:49 AM »
What about a thread for interior decoration?
How we decorate our homes or want to decorate them. Nice details, disaster areas, great solutions.... The good, bad and maybe even ugly....

A thread to discuss, chat and post pictures, pictures and more pictures....

So I'll start with the room I am most pleased with in the house. A room worth waiting for contractors to finish last winter.
The first beams of light outside windows in master bathroom.

This is one of the kitchen walls that I like. The opposite side is a disaster area.

And I didn't clear the table when I took the pic...

Our house is slapdash whatever was on sale at Sears.

I just ran across an article about Bravo's new series called Top Design.
My  cable doesn't carry Bravo, but for those of you interested in design it might be entertaining.
And maybe YouTube would have highlights of the programs. They do for Project Runway.
I do like to see the creative process in action.

I love this......  What a gorgeous view!

As promised a long time ago..... here are a few pictures of the newly painted interior of our house.  It's what we did on our spring vacation!

We have a split level house.  These two pictures are of the foyer from the stairs up to the living room.....

The foyer, right side......
