LOL, Lyle, I finally wanted to ask you to tell us! I really have been thinking who it could be and was rather certain that I would be like „Oh, right, damn yes!“ once you told us...

But now by quoting your post I could see the link and I am like „What, really??“

Need to go and google now...

Oh no, you discovered clues in the link!  Good detective work, lol!

I may be going off "topic" but Brian Cox the British Physicist
always make me believe he would be great dressed as a woman.
I really don't think anyone would turn a hair if he walked down the
street in twinset and pearls !
Wanting him to come back... before anyone notices
part of the world has not moved...since he left.

But just accidentally when I was quoting to ask you to reveal...

I agree completely, Eddie's too boyish for my liking - but then I've never seen 'The Theory of Everything', and he won an Oscar for that, so I guess he's far from "limited"  :-X

Not limiting regarding his acting ability, of course. But maybe limiting regarding getting certain roles...Like manlier roles?
Although that could be rubbish, too... I guess there is probably also a lot you can do with make-up, hair and clothes in that direction...  :)

Really? That‘s interesting... I think as a man he is kind of cute, in an awkward way...
And that kind of cuteness feels to me a bit limiting for him as an actor. But I would love to be proven incorrect and surprised by him being cast in a role that is so totally different of what I am seeing in him. :)

But as a woman, very special, positively special, I mean.  :)

Edited to add: I am not as surprised as I usually am when people are swooning over Colin Morgan or Ben Wishaw, though...
I mean, I am definitely not talking about their skills as actors (don‘t know much of Colin Morgan, but seen a few things with Ben Wishaw in)! I am just talking about the looks department...
I think my problem with Eddie as a woman in The Danish Girl was that I didn’t actually like his makeup or hairstyle - I felt they could have done better!

Does anyone wear a twin set and pearls nowadays? ;D. But yes, I see what you mean!

Oh, I see. Well, I agree with that too  ;D

But then... didn't "they" always say that Jake would forever be the "babyface" - and now look at his career and his recent roles! So maybe... Eddie should grow a beard!

Exactly. I liked the book way better than the film.

That‘s true. I really should not limit Eddie Redmayne in my head. And after thinking about I really believe that a lot has to do with costme etc., too.

I just checked and was absolutely surprised that they are about the same age! I would have thought Jake was quite a bit older!!

That's cos Jake has been around for so long, I guess. He's been in the public eye for most of his life - or so it seems for us Brokies.

Soooo, with me spending way too much time on Youtube thanks to CMBYN I come across some other stuff, too....

It seems there is something going on with Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon...   ;D
(most of you probably know about this, but I didn‘t...)
Couples counseling

https://youtu.be/8xEULwZS4hc

I think these counselling videos are really funny

Here are part of the shows they are referring to:
MD taking over the show:

Ben Affleck sneaking MD onto the show:

They have an epic quarrel going on for years  I would like to know how it started, I think it was because Kimmel ran out of time once and could not intervew MD? It's pretty fun what they have going on, they have to be good friends, otherwise I can't understand how MD puts on with Kimmel!

Thanks for those vids,  Uli!

You‘re welcome  :)

I thought also JK did a really good acting job there...

Here‘s more: Who is the father?

And no offense, dear American friends, but this show (The Unborn Identity) is for me so typical American. The way the guests and the audience behave.  ???  :-X :o

Many years ago German television was kind of infiltrated by this too, but thankfully never to that extreme...
