Our hosters are moving this site to a new data centre on Sunday 31st and there may be an outage of a couple of hours between 3am - 11am GMT and 4am -noon for Europe.

Our current DC provider is moving to a new location.

No IP will be changed. GC servers will take between 2-4 hours to be moved.

I used to work next to an LGBT Bookstore and looked at, and often bought, some books that featured photos like
these. I recall some of the titles were Picturing Men, Affectionate Men and At Ease. The latter one was all photos
of the WWII era.

Setting these types of photos to music is just a wonderful bonus and a great way to look at photos like this.

When I was watching a documentary a few years ago, concerning LGBT history in Chicago, they mentioned the song
"Baby Face" and that it was written for the songwriter's boyfriend!  Who knew? They showed a short montage of photos
while the song was playing.

I just tried a search about that and could find nothing. Neither the lyricist or composer or the song page mentions this.
Not that LGBT history isn't often hidden. I wish I knew what that program I watched was called now.

I didn‘t really know where to post this, but I NEED to declare my love for John Oliver!

I have to thank Armie Hammer for introducing me to JO via the great The wax and the furious!! 

Since then I watched many many clips from Last Week Tonight on YouTube (luckily there are a LOT of them).
No I also moved on to John Oliver as a talkshow guest himself and he is adorable, witty, cheeky and hilarious!
