Last night I was again reminded how tired I am of Sheldon Cooper, man and boy.

We have enough narcissism to deal with in RL. Maybe that's why I've grown tired of Sheldon. To me he isn't funny anymore. He's just tiresome and downright annoying. Sometimes I want to slap him silly.

But I'm still liking Zoe Perry as his mother and Annie Potts as his grandmother.

I agree about ANnie Potts, she makes the show better with her character.

Ran across this somewhere recently. Has anyone seen this 5 part mini-series called "London Spy" perhaps?  It's a BBC production.  Links below.  If you've seen it, please share your thoughts.  I also think I saw it on Netflix.  I've not read all the reviews below yet.  Warning: They likely contain spoilers.... especially the summary ones.  Later, V.

Hi V!

I've been in this fandom for three long years. In fact, our 3rd anniversary watch party is coming up next weekend.

Three years ago, a number of us in this thread (including our dearly departed Tony) watched this, with help of our friends in the UK.

Possible spoilers for London Spy

London Spy frustrates because it is so obvious that Tom Rob Smith wrote the first three episodes in order to hook Ben Whishaw on the project. That done, everything went to hell in the last two episodes, including the appallingly stupid ending. Grrrr….

One good thing that came of it, for the James Bond fandom people, is the 00QAD fanfic. 00QAD consists of James Bond, Q, and London Spy's Danny Holt and Alex Turner, who features as 009. Four terrific characters who open up a world of possibilities for those who like to dabble in that sort of thing.

My advice to a new London Spy watcher: At the 40 minute mark in episode 1, when Alex turns the radio down, turn your TV off and go happily about your life!

I've started watching the final season of House of Cards. I'll probably finish the rest of the episodes AFTER the election is over!!  :o :o :o

I don't care for Robin Wright at all, as an Actor. But I do love the Doug Stamper character!! To me he dominates EVERY scene he is in, very captivating to me. I'm also a fan of Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear.......we'll see which characters last to the end, the wrapup.......

Say what you want about Kevin Spacey, but as an Actor he commands your attention, specially in this Series. I'm waiting for the episode where they DON'T talk about his character!! LOL.... ;D ;D ;D

I was intrigued by the first 40 minutes of London Spy, with its touching, and sexy, lovemaking scene, and deeply shocked by the end of the episode. I kept watching in the hope of a satisfying ending, but apart from a few scenes it was extremely disappointing, and the final elucidation of the last scene in part 1 was pretty sadistic and horrible.

Me three! I adore Jonathan Groff.

Oh no... I’m talking about Mindhunter, and waiting for the next series.

Should I watch MindhunterS then? It sounds like it!

Wow that is BAD. So how did they carry on in such a state for 5 episodes?
Oh well.  I’ll finish the first one and look for something more interesting.
TY for sparing me 4+ hours of extremely disappointing and horrible!   V.

One review said something like, it looked as if it was going to be a sweet love story between two lonely people, with a bit of espionage thrown in, but no....

Both series are on my UK Netflix, I now find out!
