I think it probably has something to do with your status as a book volunteer. That special function has caused some problems for several members who were given access to the book work area. I will nose around and see if I can fix it.

I use the email notification to alert me of recent posts.  I lose track of what threads I have notify enabled.  Is there some way of creating a list of what threads a member has notify enabled?

Gonzo, there is not.

You would have to go back through and find them all yourself.

Even as an admin, when I look at your profile, it won't show me that level of activity. I'm guessing you already looked in your own profile functions to check and see if the system stored this info.

Sorry.

Sometimes there seems to be a glitch when I check my messages...  this happened to me once or twice before.

E.g. logged on today and it said "60 messages 1 new"  Clicked to check my messages and there was nothing new, and the new count went to 0... whenever I get another message, the 'lost' new message will show up... but not until then.

anyone else ever have something like this happen?

It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace..."

NotBastet, it happens to me all the time, now.  I find the message in my personal e-mail...do you have copies sent to yours as well?  And, yes, when another message comes in, it drags the previous one with it.  This only seems to happen when I have a full page of messages.  I can also retrieve the new one by deleting an old pm.  Hope this helps.

computer illiterate here...
can you tell me how to enlarge the pics I post on the threads?
I send them to photobucket then on to my post but they always end up small, no matter if the original size is a lot bigger? I'm sure I'm being dense here, but please put me right!
Thanks!

Hello, can anyone tell me how you can get a line of text directly under your name, as in paintedshoes' (hello PS x) 'Movie Lover', or Zudos' 'Viscount Libertine'? Is this something that is awarded on length of duty?

Thanks, Zoo.

Click on the profile button at the top of the page (4th of 5 buttons).  On your profile screen, to the left is a list. Click on forum profile information.  In the edit profile box, third item down is a place to enter Personal Text.  Try that.

the line directly under your name is a "present" when you did 1000 posts.
the line under you avatar is adjustable in your profile.

Sunny, how to resize a pic is actually explained in the FAQs.

To whomever fixed it for me--

THANKS for my other two stars. It's appreciated!

Hi, Not sure where to post this question, but if we buy stuff from "the store" (the cafepress stuff, not Amazon) does the site get any money?
Thanks.
