My new favorite place on campus, the sundial at one end of the new Science Building.

Nice sundial.  And the squirrels are cute.

Thanks, Debbie! If you ever find yourself heading east on I-70, it's well worth it to stop and eat there.

Nice place to eat.

Looks like "our" diner, doesn't it?

Winter wheat at sunset near the Kit Carson/Lincoln county line, Colorado

Love this and so many more, Fritz. And the new camera is excellent, as well as the photographer!

Love this Fritzy!

It does!   :)

And that winter wheat picture was one of my favorites, too....so many shades of colors.

Once upon a time (about 1960) the land where my mom's house now stands was a wheat field.

Thanks, y'all! I went down that dirt road just to get across the county line eastbound before heading west again to where I spent the night a little ways west of that point (I had first driven the line westbound in 1966 back when I was visiting a school friend during Easter break. and needed to get the line in the opposite direction), and I'm glad I did, the wheatfield was an added unexpected bonus.

And I loved eating in that Diner, I'd gladly go back to eat again, this time to have the chicken-fried steak. And yes, it resembles a certain other Diner to be sure!

Front of Jacob's Pickles, the New York City restaurant on Amsterdam Avenue where a few Brokies had dinner recently.  Lots of ironwork up above.

Brokie people pictures are in the Reunion thread.

Ironwork fence a little ways from the front entrance to Jacob's Pickles.

At least you don't have to climb Jacob's ladder to get to Jacob's Pickles!
