This is the week of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Where we live now, we can see the balloons when they have the mass ascension every morning at 7AM, weather permitting. The wind aloft has to be below 10 mph before the balloons can go up. They went up Saturday morning, but not Sunday morning as it was too windy. I am posting a few pics I took on Saturday morning.

This is not as clear as the balloons are farther away.



As you can see the house really does overlook the valley which is where the city of Albuquerque is situated. The house is about 1000 feet above sea level higher than the city.

The following are a few of the special shapes balloons. These are very rare and very unusual and are VERY expensive. The fish with a top hat is not so clear as I had to really zoom in.
