project for this weekend...I bought this on craigslist. I thought it was wood shelves but it's metal, and I really didn't see how bad the rust was until I got it home and cleaned it up...wish I didn't pay what I did for it, but that's my fault, so can't complain.
So I bought some rust converting primer, and this morning I sanded the shelves (I can't be bothered doing the scrolly sides) and sprayed the primer on. I'm going to paint the whole thing white and put it in the bathroom to hold towels. I took out the over-the-toilet cabinet and it kind of fell apart
, so that is getting dragged to the curb this weekend for bulk trash pick-up that starts on Monday.
