Thanks so much, Nancy. It sounds like your day was very nice!! Mine really was, just very tiring.

I'm glad you enjoyed your family and sounds like you had enough food!  :)  I hope you can rest and relax the rest of the weekend.

A little salami prosciutto rigatoni pizza bacalla parmesan spumoni ravioli scampi lasagna meatballs bragioli gnocchi pizzelle antipasto wedding soup...and then we'll have lunch
This.....^^^^^would Amelia's idea of heaven.  :D

My granddaughter who is "English" (!!) is now aged 9...but....she has had a
love of this kind of food for ever. In France she ate frogs legs and snails and wherever she goes she will tuck into the "local" foods. How wonderful to not
have a child who is fussy about what they eat. Oh!  She doesn't like fish fingers !!!

Back in the 70's some friends and I went to a John Denver concert outside Washington DC.

We bought some relatively inexpensive seats far away from the stage, but when we came to take our seats, we found them blocked by various pieces of equipment. When we complained to the management, we were given seats quite close to the stage, so it worked out very well indeed!

Wasn't he lovely man John Denver ? I saw him in a concert her in the UK..in the
80's I think it was.
Voice as clear as a mountain stream. How sad he is no longer with us.

She's a very discerning little girl! I don't blame her for not liking fish fingers. I'm not sure they should label them as 'fish'!!
