Nothing quite like fall.

This was our afternoon visitor at around 1 PM.

Jonathan had the house opened and heard the chickens going NUTS! (They were in the closed, protected yard that leads into the coop) He ran out there because the dogs were out as well. He snapped the picture of our visitor as he was walking along the back fence, just ambling along. He called for the dogs and the others had already run in and poor Trixie streaked from underneath the chicken coop and into the house.

He was a BIG one! This is the first one we've seen in over a year.

He'd been letting the chickens out in the yard, but not anymore, Plus we are going to have to go out with the dogs when it's dark.
