I have had years watching you trying to ensnare people into your petty games, Lyle. (Your most comical being your attempt to pawn off your assessments on some mysterious, anonymous PMer. If you think no one can figure out that the bait is to wonder whether that's your imaginary friend, or some actual person, and if so, Oh my! Who doesn't like me, and confides their secrets only to Lyle!
No one cares, Lyle. And you're not fooling anyone. Everyone here knows your silly games. I'm sure some are still taking the bait; I'm not interested.
I had forgotten though, that the only way to deal with your posts was try to look past them. Many members have requested a mute feature, and it comes in handy on twitter, but alas, our software company still does not offer it. I had forgotten I had to try to do it personally for a handful of members, you being at the top of the list.
Thanks for the reminder. If I can be disciplined, I won't read another word you write--until yet another complaint comes to me and I'm forced. Bye. Good luck with therapy.
Not that anyone cares and not that Dave will be reading this, but I'm replying anyway.
First, if someone says a person doesn't have a sense of humor, it doesn't necessarily follow that said person doesn't like them,
but nice tactic, either trying to get me to reveal sources, or calling me out as a liar. I guess I opened myself up for that. But I'll
agree with the assessment, and you proved my point with that post, so I'll take full responsibility. If you actually want to verify
the source of the PM, don't the moderators have the capacity to get into those forbidden areas, I recall being told that once by
one of them?
I could also throw the same thing back at you, too, saying you've got yet "another complaint about me."
From "some mysterious PMer's?" Imaginary friend? Actual person?
As for "ensnaring people into petty games" -- it's true I tend to argue my points incessantly, especially on current events,
and I'm guessing it provokes some when I keep at it, but it's not out of trying to play games with anyone; petty, silly or otherwise.
Let me know when you're in town promoting your book when it comes out. I'd like to buy you some drinks.
